Single-seater racing dominated by Brajnik

The race weekend at Slovakia Ring continued with single-seaters racing. Saturday’s programme was dominated by Paolo Brajnik, who won ahead of Tom Beckhäuser, the best-placed F3 category driver, and János Magyar.

Paolo Brajnik started well at Slovakia Ring. First, he took the pole position in qualifying, and then he managed to win the first Formula race of the ESET V4 Cup weekend. It also marked his 5th win in the E2-1600 category this year.

It was a similar case for Tom Beckhäuser, who finished 2nd – also the same position that he had qualified before. However, the Czech driver belongs to the F3 category, in which he took his 6th victory this season.

But it was not easy for Beckhäuser. At the beginning of the race, he dropped behind János Magyar. However, it did not take long before the Czech driver was back in the 2nd place following a mistake made by his Hungarian rival. Magyar dropped a couple of places behind, but after a great race pace, he managed to return to the podium position.

Andrea Cola finished 4th in the overall standings and 2nd in the F3 category, ahead of an Italian driver Luca Iannaccone.

In Formula Renault, it was Nico Gruber who won the race ahead of Bartolomiej Mirecki and Robert Hefler. And the last winner was Stefan Furtbauer, who managed to take a victory in F4 category ahead of Patrick Schober.
