Salaquarda once again the fastest, wins qualifying for Saturday’s endurance race

The Friday program of the Slovakian Grand Prix included both practice sessions and qualifying for the endurance race. In the ESET GT category, Filip Salaquarda with Audi R8 GT3 was the fastest, followed by Stanislaw Jedlinski and Kriystian Korzeniowski with Ferrari 488 from Olimp Racing.

In the overall standings, the LMP3 prototypes were, of course, the fastest, with Dan Skočdopole from Team Bretton leading the way, accompanied by local driver Miro Konopka in the front row. Behind them were the GT3 cars, led by Salaquarda and the Polish crew from Olimp Racing.

Right behind them, the BMW and Mercedes cars of Racing Trevor and Good-Speed Racing Team will hit the track with strong lineups. Stefan Rosina and BMW factory driver Jesse Krohn will share the BMW, while Piotr Wira and Daan Arrow will drive the Mercedes.

In the overall standings, the seventh fastest time was set by Nicolas Leutwiler with the Porsche 911 GT3 – another new face on the list of participants. The Slovakian Grand Prix offers a very strong starting grid across all categories, with 38 cars participating in the qualifying session, promising an exciting race.

In the GTC category, the fastest crew was Dennis Waszek and Jakub Klobása with Lamborghini. In GT4, the best time was achieved by the local driver Antal Zsigo with BMW M4 GT4.
