The opening round of the Twingo Cup series at Grobnik, Croatia saw two different winners. While the first win went to Dejan Robida, it was Matej Ivanuša who took the trophy on Sunday.

Tight battles and nerve-wracking racing until the end. That is typical for Twingo Cup races and the opening round of the 2020 season at Grobnik, Croatia, was no different.

Dejan Robida took the win on Saturday. The Slovenian driver started from a pole position after a successful Friday’s qualifying and then went on winning the race, just ahead of another Slovenian driver Jaka Marinšek, who was only 0.242 behind. But Slovenian drivers actually dominated the podium as Matej Ivanuša finished in the 3rd place.

He was joined on the podium by Nik Stefančič and Jaka Marinšek. The top 3 drivers were separated by only 0.049 seconds. Just a half a second behind was Tom A. Gruenfeld in the 4th position.

The Saturday´s winner Dejan Robida experienced a slightly less successful day this time. After the start from the 14th position, it was the 7th place.
