Sandström leads Clio Cup Bohemia

Sandström leads Clio Cup Bohemia

Filip Sandström has been a big force in the Clio Cup Bohemia series. He won all four races so far and he leads the championship standings by 49 points.

Filip Sandström has a perfect debut season in the Clio Cup Bohemia series. The Swedish driver has won all four races so far – two at Hungaroring and two at Slovakiaring. The Carpek Service driver now leads the championship standings by 49 points and is on the best way to replace his team boss Tomáš Pekař as the championship winner.

But the season is far from over and there are others, who also want to enjoy some glory and stop Sandström. And they will do everything they can. For example, Sandström’s teammate and also a Swedish driver – Erik Bertilsson, who took 3 podiums so far and he is in 2nd place with 58 points.

But there is also Richard Meixner, another Carpek Service team driver. While he is still waiting for his first podium of the season, he has been very consistent so far and he holds 3rd place with 40 points in total.

And there are also other teams with some very interesting names and strong drivers, like Z.S.P Motorsport Kft drivers Levente Losonczy and Balint Hatvani. While Losonczy had to retire from two races already, in those other two he finished in 2nd place and currently holds 4th position in the standings. On the other hand, Hatvani has only raced at Slovakiaring so far. While in the first race he finished in 3rd position after a long battle with Sandström for the winner, he took 2nd place in the other race. He is currently 5th in the championship standings.

And there is also Miha Primožič or an ESET Race Star supported driver Mark Mramor. Both have shown great pace and they are capable of battling for victories. Primožič is now 6th in the standings, while Mramor, who struggled with bad luck in both rounds so far, is currently 13th in the championship. And let’s not forget also a Finnish driver Yuuso Panttila. He is a rookie, but he is supported by last year’s champions as he works together with the Carpek Service team.
