Third place is a maximum says Milan Galáš

Milan Galáš is currently racing in his second ESET MMSR season. Last year he drove with Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car in the GTC category and he finished third. This year he aims to repeat that result.

And it seems that the third place is a realistic maximum, as the GTC category is currently dominated by two Lamborghini Huracáns of Josef Záruba and Denisz Waszek.

“Considering the pace of Lamborghini cars and their drivers, I don’t intend to aim any higher. I just want to get better in comparison with my previous races. I have never raced at Grobnik before, so let’s wait and see how it goes,” said Galáš.

He is currently third in the Sprint standings after finishing last two races on the podium. In Croatia however, he is also set to race in his first endurance race of the season, as he has found himself a teammate.

“For the first time this year I’ll be joined by Libor Milota who is a very fast driver. And if everything goes well, we will race together for the rest of the season,” added Galáš.

It is not all about driving for Galáš in 2018 though as he is also helping his son Jáchym with his racing career in the Clio Cup.

“Jáchym is going to race at Grobnik as well. Once again, we expect tough battles with Michal Makeš and Lema Racing drivers. Jáchym is currently second, so he is definitely going to try to do a good result,” said Galáš.
