Just like last year, the battles on the tracks aren´t only about sporting success, but also about prize money for developing driver´s career.
The TCR Eastern Europe champion for 2023 will receive €30,000 to spend in TCR Europe. The amount will be divided into a €23,000 for entry fee and €7,000 for Kumho tyres.
Last year’s champion Bartosz Groszek can use the entry fee for his participation in TCR Europe. It should be noted that the promotion of young drivers in touring cars starts already in the Twingo Cup. The champion of this series will receive prize money for the Clio Cup participation and the winner of the Clio Cup will receive a prize money for the TCR Eastern Europe. Last year Clio Cup champion Tobias Poschik is moving to Aditis Racing in TCR Eastern Europe, while Nik Štefančič is heading from Twingo Cup to Clio Cup thanks to this kind of support.
