SAPE Motorsport is fielding young karting driver Miroslav Mikeš in the ACCR Czech Formula series at the Red Bull Ring with a new Tatuus T421 Formula 4 car.
Team boss Petr Samek had announced earlier this year the plan to enter the new single-seater series. While the team missed the opening race at the Hungaroring, they will be present at the Red Bull Ring with the announced line-up.
“We will race in the ACCR Czech Formula with Miroslav Mikeš, who is transferring from karting. If we succeed together and have speed, we would like to try one race of the Italian F4 at the end of the season, where we could gain further important experience,” said Petr Samek.
Like many other teams, SAPE Motorsport faced delayed delivery of the Tatuus car. However, the car arrived a few weeks ago, and Miroslav Mikeš has already tested it at the Brno circuit. He is now preparing for his debut race weekend.
