This year’s ESET MMSR Twingo Cup season has been all about a championship battle between two brothers. Alfred Kramer won the opening race at Hungaroring, while his brother Stefan celebrated a victory after the second race. Exactly the same happened in the next round at Autodromo di Franciacorta, with Alfred winning the first race and Stefan the other one.
Kamer brothers have not given anybody else a chance yet and they lead the championship. Thanks to a points-index Alfred Kramer is currently first with 40.26 points ahead of his brother Stefan with 39.64 points. Right behind them is Tomáš Trček with 37.14 points.
„Sure, the 2018 season has been working out great for me until now and I hope I can continue to make results like that,“ said Kramer.
„Every time when my brother and I sit in a racing car or in a kart, we go extremely tough on each other, but still in fair-play. We have been pushing each other to the limits since our childhood and it’s pretty cool to race with him. For sure, I will try to defend my lead by getting more top results but my rivals never sleep, so we’re going to have a very interesting rest of the season,“ added Kramer.
