The opening round of ESET Cup at Grobnik Circuit, Croatia was opened by the sprint of two-liters touring cars and Chevrolet Cruze Cup. And Aliyyah Koloc from Buggyra Zero Mileage Racing absolutely dominated this race.
Only 15-years old driver is collecting the important experience for the starts in European Truck Racing Championship. Grobnik was a great occasion to complete the first race kilometers for her.
Cruze Cup was attractive thanks to the fight for the first place. Sven Grossmann lost his pole position already in the opening meters of the race, when he was passed by Björn Dietrich. These two drivers had the fantastic battle for the victory in the rest of the race. Dietrich expertly kept the defensive line and didn’t give much occassions for the attack to Grossmann. The duel was decided in the penultimate lap, when Dietrich suddenly slowed down. Grossmann took the lead and won ahead of the second Dennis Bröker and the third Aaron Morf. The unfortunate Dietrich didn’t finish.
