Wira and Good Speed Racing will move to GT3

Piotra Wira and Good Speed Racing will continue in our championship this season. They will move from GT4 to GT3 category.

Good Speed Racing made its debut in our championship last season. We could see this team in GT4 Sprint. They deployed Mercedes AMG GT4 car there and Piotr Wira was behind the wheel. The Polish driver scored third place six times and he finished third also in the final championship standings.

Wira and Good Speed Racing will race in our championship also during 2021 season. But they will no longer race in GT4. Instead, they will move to GT3 category and will remain loyal to Mercedes. They will fight for the points with Mercedes AMG GT3 car.

„The plans for 2021 season is to race in full campaign of this championship, but with our new car – Mercedes AMG GT3. We are attracted to ESET Cup by the very good organization of the championship and by the interesting competition on demanding circuits,“ says Good Speed Racing.

The team doesn´t have modest ambitions for the first season in new category: „We are obviously aiming to winning. But we realize how much work we have to do and how much racing luck it requires,“ they added.

Mercedes AMG GT3 cars were successful in last season of GT3 category. In sprint, they scored six victories. Each of the trio Libor Milota, David Vršecký and Marcin Jedlinski won two races. In GT3 Endurance, Mercedes AMG GT3 cars won three from four races. Libor Milota with Sergej Pavlovec took victory in Grobnik, David Vršecký and Tomáš Enge triumphed at Slovakiaring a Marcin Jedlinski was best at Hungaroring.

Mercedes AMG GT3 cars were at the top of GT3 category last year.
