This time the junior competition will take place in Croatia

The third event of the ESET V4 Cup will take place next weekend, with the series this time visiting the Croatian circuit of Grobnik, which has hosted the World Motorcycle Championship, among others, in the past.

The junior competition across all categories is extremely balanced after two events. The leading driver is Mark Škulj, this year’s champion of the Twingo Cup, during which he won three out of four races. He leads the ongoing junior ranking with a point coefficient of 39.34. In second place with 39 points is Michal Makeš from the Mičánek Motorsport team in the Clio Cup. This young racer continues in the same spirit as in last year’s debut season – at present he can look back on four wins from four starts.

In third place is the formula racing car driver Andrea Cola from the Monolite Racing TEAM. This Italian behind the wheel of a F3 car has already started at Grobnik and has at least a partial advantage over his strong rival Tom Beckhäuser. This pair, sharing the bronze rung of the table, is divided by only 0.13 points.

Robert Hefler with his Renault 2.0 formula racing car has also had a great start to the season. After two races he dominates his category and in the junior ranking this Hungarian driver from the F-Racing 2000 Kft team holds fifth place.

From the top five juniors there are drivers from four different categories – Twingo Cup, Clio Cup, F3 and formula Renault. Stefan Fürtbauer from the Franz Wöss team, who is in seventh place, is the best in F4. From the D4-3500 category, Tamás Tenke from Zëngo Motorsport is gaining momentum with his Seat Cupra TCR, which was on the podium for the first time at the Red Bull Ring. Tenke holds tenth place in the junior ranking, closely followed by Adam Lengyel with his Toyota GT86 from the D4-2000 category. The best-placed male from the TCR series is the 12th place Jáchym Galas with his VW Golf TCR from the GT2 Motorsport team.

Thirteen juniors will meet at Grobnik, including the Polish debutant Szymon Ladniak, who will be racing for the GT2 Motorsport team in the Clio Cup.
