A very popular Renault Clio Cup will offer even better grid in the upcoming season. Only eight weeks are remaining to the opening round at Hungaroring and currently, there are eleven entries in total. The biggest entrant is LEMA Racing with four cars, while Mičánek Motorsport from Brno will race with two Clios. One of them will be driven by Michal Jakeš, a karting driver just like Jáchym Galáš, who’s joining GT2 Motorsport and will be behind the wheel of their only car. René Martinek is also on the list, getting for the 2018 season. A Fischer family-run team then takes the last three entries.
The upcoming season of Clio Cup will feature some very talented drivers including Matthias Lodi, the last year’s champion of Twingo Cup, a championship that is getting more and more attention every year. And in 2018, there will be two new Twingos on the grid.
