The last two races of this year‘s Renault Twingo Cup series have been won by the new champion Mark Škulj. He was joined on the podium by Nik Stefančič and Gašper Dernovšek in both races.
Mark Škulj showed everybody at Hungaroring why he is a Renault Twingo Cup champion. The Slovenian driver managed to win both races and end the season in style. On Saturday, he took only the 2nd place finish behind Nik Stefančič.
Yesterday‘s race winner had to settle for the 3rd place in the end as Gašper Dernovšek, who started from pole position, managed to cross the finish line in 2nd place.
Both drivers also joined Škulj on the podium for the final race of the weekend. However, this time it was Dernovšek in 3rd place and Stefančič took the 2nd position.
The final race of the season also brought out two black flags. Matěj and Tomáš Korený had been both disqualified for constant on-track nagging.
