Filip Salaquarda wins the intense battle for pole position

A very close battle for pole position took place during the qualifying session for the Saturday evening endurance race. Filip Salaquarda ultimately won the fight for the first position with his Audi R8 LMS GT3, beating Daan Pijl with his Mercedes AMG GT3 by only 0.019 seconds.

While Salaquarda will be driving alone in the endurance race, Pijl will be switching with Piotr Wira during the race, so the start will be crucial for both drivers. The third place on the starting grid will be occupied by the team of Ernst Kirchmayer and Peter Baron with their Ferrari 488 GT3. Libor Milota with his Mercedes AMG secured the fourth fastest time, while Miro Konopka with his Lamborghini Huracán GT3 finished fifth. The first five positions on the grid will be exclusively occupied by GT3 category cars. Alexander Ober with his Lamborghini Huracán will start sixth and falls into the GTX category.

From the fourth row, Kurt Wagner and Josef Záruba with their Lamborghini in the GTC category will start ahead of Antonín Herbeck with his Pagani Zonda in the GTX category. The fastest time in the KTM GTX category was achieved by the team of Petr Lisa and Pavel Sovička.

In the GT4 category, Zéno Kovács with his BMW M4 GT4 was once again the fastest, ahead of his Racing teammate Trevor Antal Zsig.The endurance race will also feature Touring Car category cars, with the team of Bartosz Groszek and Radim Adámek securing the fastest time with their Audi RS3 LMS TCR.
