The Junior Trophy classification across the ESET Cup and TCR Eastern Europe shows two favourites – Petr Semerád and Tobias Poschik.
Petr Semerád is racing in TCR Eastern Europe with the Hyundai i30N TCR of the Hyundai / Janík Motorsport team. Tobias Poschik defends the colours of the Carpek Service team in the Clio Cup. The Junior Trophy standings is led by Semerád with 57.56 points. Poschik has 56.04 points. The point rating is calculated according to a coefficient in which not only the position in the race, but also the number of starters plays a role.
Semerád is fighting for the title in TCR, where he currently holds the second place. Poschik rules the Clio Cup. So far, his worst finish was in second place and he has three wins to his credit.
The third best placed junior driver is Nik Štefančič, who starts in the Twingo Cup. Štefančič collected 48.14 points in the Junior Trophy, however, he leads the overall ranking in the Twingo Cup.
