Paolo Brajnik has faced problems in first half of the season. However in the second half, he has started to win races in F3 and and became a champion of L21 Formula.
You have won L21 Formula Championship by 9 points from Andrea Cola, how was your season?
The season started with several issues. First race at Hungaroring was suspended by a big crash. The drive-through in second race due to slippery clutch, that caused jump start, which costed us many points. As well Ricardo Perego cut our rear left tire at Red Bull Ring that cost us points.
Nevertheless, we went to racing normality in the second half of the season so we could go ahead of Andrea Cola and finish the season on the top.
You have some nice fights with Adrea Cola, for example in second race in Grobnik. Are you aggressive driver, or more „waiting for the opportunity“ type?
Definetly agressive adrenaline driver.
The highest competition was in Brno, more then 30 single seater on the grid. How did you enjoy race in this great field?
Brno was half bad, half good. Race one we experienced some power unit issue. Race two was more in line with expectation and engine power was fine this time.
Which race are you going to remember for a long time?
Despite the limited amount of cars, definetly the race in Grobnik. That circuit is absolutely an amazing speed gem!
What are your plans for next year?
Road to Le Mans or European Le Mans Series. We will see if and which f3 races we will attend.
