Majer wins TWC race, another DNF for Makeš

Petr Majer has won the 2nd TWC race on Sunday. He was joined on the podium by Zoran Poglajen and Mlha Primožič. Michal Malíček took a victory in TWC2 category, with Wolfgang Kriegl winning in TWC3.

It seems like Michal Makeš simply does not have any luck at Slovakia Ring. The Mičánek Motorsport driver started from the pole position again but just like yesterday, he did not finish the race. This time he had a close battle with Petr Majer for the win, but then they collided, which forced Makeš off the track and later to retire from the race.

While the winner of the past 6 races has not gained any points this weekend, his Czech compatriot could celebrate a big win. After Makeš‘ retirement, Zoran Poglajen took the 2nd place where he also finished the race after a close battle with Mlha Primožič, who finished in 3rd. Yesterday‘s winner Levent Losonczy finished in 4th place.

Once again, Michal Malíček won the TWC2 category as the only entrant. In the TWC3 category, only two drivers managed to finish the race – Dennis Bröker and Wolfgang Kriegel. While the former won yesterday‘s 1st race, this time it was his Austrian rival who could celebrate a victory.
