Jablonski received Luky 21 Challenge Trophy in Poznan

Szymon Jablonski received Luky 21 Challenge Trophy during third round of 2021 season in Poznan. Among other things, he deserved this award thanks to his victory in our junior standings in 2020 season.

Szymon Jablonski returned to our championship during third round of 2021 season in Poznan, Poland. The BM Racing Team driver competed in TCR Eastern Europe category during his home race weekend. And it was a successful comeback for him. In Race 1, he finished third. In Race 2, it was fourth place for him.

But trophy for third place wasn´t only one cup he got in Poznan. Among other things, handover of Luky 21 Challenge Trophy for 2020 season took place during the weekend. And it was Jablonski who earned this award.

„The LUKY 21 Challenge Trophy is handed over in honor of Lukáš Hanžl for extraordinary performance and contribution in motorsport already from 2013. Szymon is a big talent and it rightfully belongs to him, not only because of his win in junior standings, but also because of his exemplary behavior outside race track. He is very young and sporty, he has future ahead of himself. I will be very happy if he continues in our championship. But we will give him full support wherever he races,“ says Josef Křenek, the promoter of our championship.

Jablonski was visible especially in Endurance races last year. He achieved championship title there with Hyundai i30 N TCR car of BM Racing Team and with his teammate Bartlomiej Mirecki. But Jablonski was successful in prestigious TCR Eastern Europe category too. He finished on overall fifth place there. He shone especially at Masaryk Circuit in Brno, where he finished third in both races. The fact it was very first season with TCR car for Jablonski adds value to his results from last year.
