Richard Meixner won two endurance races of TC – 2.0 category this year. And he values a lot these two victories.
We could see Richard Meixner in Renault Clio Cup category and also in endurance races of TC – 2.0 class this year. In overall standings of Renault Clio Cup, he finished 14th. He was more successful in endurance standings of TC – 2.0 category. He won last two races in Brno and at Hungaroring with his teammate Tomáš Pekař and they took titles of vice-champions.
In both races, they won after a huge battle with the crew of Buggyra Zero Mileage Racing, which consisted from Tomáš Enge, the only Czech driver in Formula One history, and only sixteen-year-old Yasmeen Koloc. Recently, Meixner said he really appreciates these two triumphs.
„I value a lot these two victories. I don´t want it to sound too much exaggerated, but many people in the Czech Republic don´t beat Enge twice. But considering his racing experiences and his racing history, I have to take it with humility. It was a great experience for me. I enjoyed it the most. But it´s necessary to realize with whom and against whom I raced. I think the fact that the battle of two Tomáš´s was broadcasted for 25 minutes in live stream says it all,“ told Meixner.
Among other things, Meixner will compete in Renault Clio Cup races also next year. But it´s not yet clear if we will see him in ESET Cup again.
