Like the time practice, also the race of the formula monoposts was marked with heavy rain, testing the skills of the pilots. The pole-position in F3 was obtained by Andrea Cola before Tom Beckhäuser and the same two rivals of this season continued in their duel in the course of the race. Beckhäuser managed a better start, overtaking Cola and taking the lead. However, the Italian pilot did not give up by any means and followed closely the leading red monopost. He scored the quickest lap time in the race, kept attacking Beckhäuser but despite all those efforts he could not manage to overtake the defensively driving Czech pilot. Thus another victory in F3 category belonged to Beckhäuser followed by the second-ranking Cola and the third rank of Roland Stern.
Bartolomiej Mirecki excelled in the Formula Renault class. The defender of last year´s champion title celebrated his first victory of the season and left behind the current interim leader of the ranking, Robert Hefler, as well as Lajos Szomszed, with a big advantage over them.
