Brajnik victorious in single-seaters despite red flag

With just one lap to go, Tomáš Chabr became only a passenger behind the wheel of his Formula car and he stopped in a dangerous place in Turn 1. The race had to be stopped and Paolo Brajnik was declared a winner, one lap earlier than expected.

Brajnik managed to take pole position with his blue Dallara F318. The Italian driver was faster than Atilla Penzes with number 999 on his black and gold car. However, the Hungarian driver had a horrible start and he quickly dropped to the back of the field.

Meanwhile, Brajnik started to feel comfortable in the lead and he was increasing his gap every lap. Janos Magyar was 2nd, ahead of Danny Luderer from Austria and two Czech drivers Vladimír Netušil and Tomáš Chabr. While it was Chabr, who caused the red flag with a spin in the first corner, he was still classified in 5th place as the order from a previous lap was declared as final.
