Italian racing driver Andrea Cola from Monolite Racing Team currently sits at fourth place in F3 championship of ESET V4 Cup. His main rival is point leader Tom Beckhäuser, but Cola hopes he will fight with him until last race of the season.
Are you satisfied with the season so far?
Yes I’m happy for the results of races in Hungaroring and Red Bull Ring, but could always go better.
You are fourth in the current F3 championship, while Tom Beckhäuser leads the points. How tough is he as an opponent?
Tom is a very good driver, and I hope we will get to the last race to compete for the title of champion.
What else you can do to beat him or others competitiors?
I can go always faster, maybe I found the limit of the car, but i didn’t found my limit yet.
Next round is in Grobnik, where you have already raced last year, but for a lot of your opponents its a new track. Do you think it will be our advantage?
Grobnik it’s a very difficoult track to learn, but we’ll see.
We can expect really hot weather in Grobnik, does the high temperatures affect you, or are you used to it and it´s no problem for you?
I’m used to high temperatures in circuits, it’s not a big problem for me, but maybe for the cars is not the same.
What are your other plans for this season? Are you racing somewhere else other then ESET V4 Cup?
Yes i’m racing in TopJet F2000 trophy and Drexler Formel Cup too.
