Austrian driver Alexander Ober, driving a Lamborghini Huracan in the GTX category, won the qualifying for the ESET Sprint races on Saturday and Sunday. Alongside him on the front row will be Filip Salaquarda in an Audi R8 LMS, who was also the fastest man in the GT3 category. Overall third place went to Matej Pavlicek in a Lamborghini Super Tropheo from the GTC category.

Qualifying for both weekend races at the Red Bull Ring took place on Friday, with a thirty-car field spanning several categories. Ober, Salaquarda, and Pavlicek will start in the same order for the second sprint race.

In the individual categories, Rupert Atzeberger, Bernhard Loffler, Dennis Liebl, and Petr Lisa in a KTM GTX rounded out the top five behind Ober in the GTX category. For the second sprint race, the starting order will be Ober, Atzeberger, Antonin Herbeck, Loffler, and Liebl.

In the GT3 category, Salaquarda was the fastest ahead of Libor Milota, local driver Ernst Kirchmayr, Miro Konopka, and Gregor Zsigo. In the second qualifying session, the order remained the same, but Zsigo jumped Konopka for fourth place.

In the GTC category, Jachym Galas, Dennis Waszek, Franz Lahmer, and Libor Dvoracek finished behind Pavlicek. The order was identical for the second qualifying session.
